Greetings Friends and My Anonymous Fellow Skincare Friends! As I stated in my recent post, I'm restarting my skincare blog as of January 1st 2018, but I wanted to give everyone a little background on who I am and how this blog came to be. I started this blog originally in 2012 after several of my friends asked me for skincare advice. I'm not a esthetician. I don't work in the beauty industry. I'm not a doctor. I'm just a person who loves skincare. My personal skin story is that I was a lucky teenager. I had normal teenage acne - a spot here and there consistently on my face, but nothing too bad. However, my brother was not as lucky - he had cystic acne. Our mom didn't have cystic acne when she was a teenager and didn't know how to treat it. Also, we didn't live in an area where we had access to a dermatologist either, so my mom did her best to help him.
