Review: SokoGlam's 7-Day Sheet Mask Challenge Set

Greetings, my friends!

Bottom Line - I would absolutely recommend buying this set to anyone who wants to explore sheet sets - whether you're a beginner or an expert. The variety they sent helped me explore the different types of mask that are available, and helped me determine what I like and don't like in sheet masks.

ACWELL: ACWELL is a Korean beauty company that combines traditional Korean medicine with over 400 years of history with modern-day research to give you the best results. Natural herbs calm skin and address problems at their roots to restore skin back to health. -SokoGlam

ACWELL Honey Anti-Wrinkle Daanj Mask:
I'm torn on this one. I like the results, but I don't think I'll buy this again even though it only costs $2.50. I've tried a couple of these kinds of face masks (linen with lot of goo essence) and I just don't like the way it feels on my skin while I wait the 20 minutes for the mask to set. Having said that, once I removed the mask it soaked into my skin quite quickly and my face looked smooth and bright. Maybe I'll buy it again, but I'm on the fence. I really didn't like the texture.

ACWELL Traditional Grain Syrup Ginger Mask:
Like the Ultru and the other ACWELL mask, this mask is a linen mask soaked in a gooey essence; however, this one didn't bother me like the others. It was less gooey (if that make sense), but I still wouldn't purchase it again. In short, it didn't work for me. Or if it did, I didn't notice firming. However, it is hydrating, but it leaves a sticky residue on your face once it dries. This mask costs $3.50. I will not be repurchasing it.

Manefit: Specializing in patented sheet face mask technology, Manefit is a combination of the words “mask pack” and “benefit.” Manefit has a goal of bringing health and beauty to consumers with unique and quality products developed through professional R&D. - SokoGlam

Manefit Bling Bling Hydro Gel Mask - Energizing Rose:
Loved this one. It felt cool and moisturizing on my face. It didn't leave a sticky residue, and was well worth the $6. I think I liked it most because of the gel formula and the fact it came in two separate pieces. The two pieces work best on my face and the gel formula is less messy and cooler on my skin.

Sally's Box: Sally's Box creates all of its products around one of the key building blocks of an amazing skin care routine: moisturizing. Each mask specifically addresses a skin concern while never compromising on hydration. - SokoGlam

Sally's Box Delight Collagen Hydrogel Mask:
I loved this mask. It's a gel mask that is cool and hydrating. I used this on a particularly cold and windy day when my skin was dehydrated, and this brought my skin back to life. Well worth the $5 it costs and I will definitely buy this again.

Sally's Box Loverecipe Acai Berry Mask:
I really liked this mask. It smells like heaven, hydrates your skin like a champ, and left my skin smooth and even. It only costs $2 (which makes it a hell of a deal). I will happily buy this one again.

SKINFOOD: SKINFOOD's philosophy is to create beauty products formulated with the extracts of the highest quality fruits and vegetables. Healthier skin starts with food. - SokoGlam

Skinfood Everyday Green Tea Facial Sheet Mask:
I liked this mask a lot. I was surprised since it only costs $2, but I would definitely buy it again. It hydrated without making my skin feel sticky, and I only needed to leave it on for 15 minutes.

Ultru: Known for their innovative clay and jelly masks, we're always looking to Ultru for the latest masking trends. - SokoGlam

Ultru I'm sorry for my Skin Brightening Jelly Mask:
This was okay and only cost $4, but it wasn't great and I don't know if I'll buy it again because it was quite gooey. When I pulled the mask out of the packet it was difficult to pull out because of the goo and it was sticking to the sides. Luckily this was a cloth mask because it probably would have ripped if it was a gel mask. Also once I took off the mask, the goo stayed on my face for another 15 minutes. I kept trying to pat it into my skin, but it took a while to absorb.

Stats:
If you are like me and find the plethora of sheet mask on the market a little intimidating - then this kit is for you. The kit sells for $25 (https://sokoglam.com/products/7-day-sheet-mask-challenge-set) and it will give you a good introduction to sheet masks.

You can also buy the masks separately on SokoGlam for between $2-6 (https://sokoglam.com/collections/sheet-face-mask). Some of the masks are available online at other vendors (such as CVS, Anthropologie, YesStyle, etc), but I really like SokoGlam because of their pricing and the variety of masks available.

One last thing, you don't receive a discount for buying these in the kit. If I had bought these separately they would have cost $25. The reason I like this kit is it let me discover the different kinds of sheet masks available without having to think about it.

That’s it. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help.

Review: 6 Different SokoGlam Sheet Masks

Greetings, my friends! Bottom Line  - I would buy almost every mask again with the exception of the E-Nature mask. E-Nature: Per SokoGlam.com, E-Nature was founded on the principle of creating breakthrough formulas for your skin by fusing cutting-edge Korean technology with the safest and most effective natural ingredients. E-Nature's Squeeze Green Watery Sheet Mask: This mask was "okay." It's a cotton mask soaked in watery essence (not goo) which felt nice and cool on my face, but I didn't see any difference other than that it slightly hydrated my skin. It's meant to treat excess sebum, but I didn't notice a difference either. This costs $2.50, but I don't think I'll buy it again. Klavuu: Per SokoGlam.com, Klavuu is Korea's first marine pearl cosmetic brand that infuses natural pearl, essential oils, and marine plant extracts into their signature formulas. Natural pearls will enrich, hydrate, and firm the skin, for the most ra...

Review: Dermalogica's Oil Free Matte SPF 30

Greetings, my friends! Bottom Line  - this is a great matte daytime lotion which I think is worth a try for someone looking for a new lotion. Dermalogica : Dermalogica is an American skincare company founded by Jane and Rey Wurwand in 1986. However, before the first Dermalogica products were made - in 1983, Jane, a U.K. trained skin therapist, opened "The International Dermal Institute" for licensed skin therapists to teach hands-on postgraduate level skincare training. Realizing there weren't products on the market which matched what she was teaching, Jane and Rey established Dermalogica. They decided they wanted a p roduct line free of common irritants and ingredients which they felt led to breakouts, such as lanolin, SD alcohol, mineral oil, artificial colors, and fragrances - and that's exactly what they ended up creating.
